if you are selling a horse do not fast forward past their sale. The horse auction is held every Thursday at the end of the race day. Obviously, I rely on auctions to build up my core so I have some auction strategies I use with that thought in mind. I mean as long as you have money and don't care about spending it you can breed you male horse with as many computer females as you want and then select which ones you want to keep or put up for auction two years later also after building the breeding facilities in the first year you need to provide both female and male horses for breeding from season 3 on you can use a computer horse to breed with your horse and those horses are most often much better than our horses so if I have a male and female group 1 I'll pair my horses up (for a fee) with computer horses with better stats and create 2 offspring rather than pairing them up together to make only one. buying good group 1 winners can cost you $3-4 Million so be prepared to invest the initial outlay. to obtain group 1 winners you need to either get your horses into group 1 winners circles (to me I've noticed at the start it's easier to get a female to win a group 1 race because there are races specifically restricted to females only and the speed ratings are usually lower, not always but usually) or purchase them when they come up for auction. I keep my size of the stable down for personal style because keeping track of 20+ horses doesn't appeal to me (and by keeping stable numbers lower I can usually breeze through seasons fairly quickly) I save breeding facilities to last, my theory is there's not much sense breeding weak horses as they don't sell for much so I only breed group 1 winner parents. I tend to take chances on 2 yr olds with group 1 winner for a parent when I buy at auction then I review their stats and if they do not measure up I cancel any upcoming race that may occur before next auction and put them up for sale, also take your winnings and invest it into improving your stable.

keep doing this until you nest egg enough money that you can purchase better horses at auction. I have found that you lose many races but at the end of the race day you will have made more money than you will lose you can quickly nest egg millions of dollars betting only on favs to win at maximum bets. Then take the money you received from auctions and bet maximum on favs in every race every day. To be successful you must be patient because it can take an hour or more to accumulate a healthy financial balance.Īctually I think it is fun pitting yourself against the AI in the betting mode.Īt the start of a new game sell your 2 yr olds at 1st auction (don't race them) then sell all other horses that do not have at least 75% potential rating and then look closely at their stats, some stats don't really matter but the important ones are cruising burst, extra speed and finish application these need to be 75% to put together winning horses. When I have finished I normally save the game so I still have the cash and then go to the stable and purchase all the upgrades including 3 of the most expensive horse boxes. I normally win about 10 million pounds but I have won over a 100 million if the results include outsiders and I place enough money on the RFs. You can also do it in Simple Training Mode. in fact ANY day.ĩ) You can do this in any playing mode, Training/Owner game, Training Game & Punter Match. Remember that 3, & 4 horse races will not permit forecasts the bets must be on to win only.Ĩ) If you wish you can do this on the second day. Sometimes this takes several reloads to accomplish but when it does you have a healthy balance, especially if the first 2 horses are outsiders.ħ) Do this for every race that day but be a little more frugal on your bets because if a few forecasts don't come up you have money to continue betting on the races until they do. Continue to do this until your first RV comes up. If so you have to close the game down and reload it again.

it does me.Ģ) Go to the first days races and show the result of the first race.ģ) Make a note of the 1st and 2nd placed horses and then do the same for each race during that day.ĥ) Back the 1st and 2nd horses you noted in the first race in a Reverse Forecast (RF).Ħ) I normally use all my money on the 1st race and hope it comes up but it does not always. This cheat can give you millions of pounds. There is a strange 'cheat' available but it can take a little time.
